Jeannie Heffernan is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried and won more than a dozen cases in federal district courts across the country and at the International Trade Commission, with victories affirmed at the Federal Circuit. She represents clients in a wide range of fields, including computer networking, telecommunications, cryptography, semiconductors, and medical devices. Jeannie has particular experience litigating patent matters in Texas, where she has won numerous defense verdicts. She has been recognized by the Legal 500, IAM Patent 1000, BTI Consulting, The National Law Journal, and Super Lawyers Magazine for her work. Jeannie also has a vibrant pro-bono practice, including work on behalf of unaccompanied minor immigrants, individuals who have been labor- and/or sex-trafficked, and post-conviction death-penalty clients. Jeannie obtained her undergraduate degrees at the University of Notre Dame, and her graduate degrees at the University of Chicago.
