Hongsun Yoon is Director and Senior IP Counsel for LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. In this position, he is responsible for intellectual property matters in the United States for LG across the company’s many products. His work primarily involves managing and resolving patent litigation and licensing disputes. In addition to litigation matters, Hongsun also handles contractual matters involving IP, including, for example, in collaborations agreements, supply agreements, and employee contracts. During his time at LG, Hongsun has also taken the lead in responding to government investigations and inquiries on non-IP issues.

Prior to joining LG, Hongsun practiced at the law firm of Barnes & Thornburg LLP in Indianapolis and at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP in Washington, D.C. Hongsun is a registered United States Patent Attorney.
