Brian Pandya is a first-chair trial and appellate lawyer who represents technology and healthcare companies in high-stakes intellectual property, competition, and white-collar disputes. He also has significant experience advising clients on data privacy and cybersecurity matters. Brian joined the Washington, DC office of Duane Morris after serving at the U.S. Department of Justice as Deputy Associate Attorney General, where he oversaw investigations and litigations undertaken by the Antitrust Division and Civil Division and worked on a variety of national security matters. Brian has served as lead counsel, and obtained successful client outcomes, in a range of complex matters, including patent infringement suits, antitrust claims, challenges to agency actions under the Administrative Procedure Act, False Claims Act investigations, and commercial arbitrations.

Brian began his legal career in the Eastern District of Texas clerking for Judge Leonard Davis. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Penn State. Brian is a two-time recipient of the Federal Circuit Bar Association’s Pro Bono Advocacy Award for work on behalf of military veterans and also served as volunteer federal public defender in the Eastern District of Virginia.
