Jeffrey C. Boshek II
Special Agent in Charge, ATF Dallas
Jeffrey C. Boshek II was appointed as the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Dallas Field Division in February 2018. As the Special Agent in Charge, Mr. Boshek is responsible for leading the men and women of the Dallas Field Division while enforcing laws and regulations related to firearms, explosives, arson and alcohol and tobacco trafficking in North Texas, and Oklahoma.
At the time of his appointment SAC Boshek was serving the ATF Director as the Chair of ATF’s Professional Review Board, ensuring that allegations of employee misconduct were handled lawfully, fairly, consistently, and expeditiously.
A seasoned law enforcement professional, SAC Boshek began his ATF career as a Special Agent in 2001, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rising through the ranks at ATF, SAC Boshek has served in several leadership positions including the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Field Division, the Executive Assistant to the Assistant Director of Field Operations, the Special Agent in Charge of ATF’s ESF #13 Branch and as a Group Supervisor in Washington, D.C. He has also served as a Public Information Officer in Denver, Colorado and Washington, D.C.
SAC Boshek is a recipient of the ATF Medal of Valor, the ATF Director’s Award, and the ATF Distinguished Service Award.
A Florida native, SAC Boshek earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from the Florida State University in 1999. SAC Boshek married Angela in 2003 and has three children: Beau, Jake, and Taylor. He is an active member of the Arlington, Texas community, serving as a youth sports coach and mentor.
